DailyQ #34: Do I need to adapt my sales approach?

Do I need to adapt my sales approach for every new market I go after? Troy Hoffman insists you must believe in your product and understand your customer first. Then you can set a frame that will transform the way you position your products.

Become masterful at speaking into the language of their hearing.

Tony Robbins, Matt Browning and other coaches talk about the power of NLP: Neuro Linguistic Programming. Speaking into someones listening will take your sales to the next level. You have to do mirroring, matching, and get clear on what your customers are looking for.

Rule #1: Make sure you believe in what you're selling.

Are you sure you have an amazing product? Do you have something that will change lives? Is your pricing model better? What makes you or your product better than the competition? After you understand yourself and product, you can approach customers with clarity.

Who are your customers? Where are they on the DISC assessment, Kolbe Index, or personality scores? You have to get clear on the frame you are selling into. Pitch Anything by Oren Klaff is a great read that will teach how to setup these frames. If your true aim is to impact lives and give to people, you will sell and business will grow.

What area in your life do you need to grow, learn or practice to increase your sales game? What action are you going to take in the next 24-48hrs to achieve what you want?

Now go and live your destiny!
