What Are You Willing To Do?

Are you in or are you out? What is your level of commitment? We want all these things to work out for us, relationships, businesses, projects, ideas… But, honestly, how committed are we to the process?

There is a similarity between your relationship with your business and any personal relationship -let’s say as an example, a romantic relationship-. Imagine that you want a loving relationship with your significant other. And imagine that every day, you criticize your partner, you judge him/her, you are looking for alternatives, you have one foot in and one foot out thinking that maybe you could be with someone better or doing something else.

Guess what is going to happen to that relationship?

Exactly. It is going to fail.

The same happens with the relationship with our business:

  • If we don’t take care of our business,

  • we don’t nurture it,

  • we cheat on it by always looking for other projects to focus on and neglect the one we already have in hand,

  • we criticize it,

  • we judge and blame our clients, our co-workers,

  • we are incendiary in meetings with our team members...

Guess what is going to happen to your business? Exactly, same as the previous example. It will fail.

We know what we have to do. We know we have to step up and take a step forward toward nurturing and caring for what is important to us; to commit 100% to it. To be all in. That is where this question comes to place: what are you willing to do? And most importantly, are you willing to do it? Whatever comes up, are you willing to take action on it?

Let me tell you something. Get clear on what you want and commit to it more than 100%. Commit and say “whatever must be done, shall be done.” I won’t hold back. I won’t be jumping around a thousand things. I will commit, and I will do whatever I have to do until completion to get the results and life I want and deserve.

Period.
