I Just Need 3 Minutes of Your Time

Probably the biggest challenge that you will face in your business is getting the attention of your prospect or your customer.

That’s right.

You cannot begin to offer them products or services unless you can first get their attention. Imagine that your business is located in a neighborhood that is in a secluded area and away from busy streets, with other stores and restaurants. Now imagine that your main objective is to figure out a way to redirect or drive traffic from the busy streets two blocks over….to your brick and mortar dry cleaning business or restaurant. How will you go about accomplishing this task?

One of the first things you have to do is move people. Typically, this will take place on a social media platform as face-to-face pitches may not occur until you first get someone’s attention. Then what comes next….

What if even after pitching your heart out you still have trouble driving traffic to your business or your idea? You may even have angel investors who are interested but they are waiting on that “It” factor that special sauce… In other words they are waiting on you to share a unique industry altering technology, service, or new business model. Potential investors may also be looking at the way you operate your business, to determine whether it would be a worthwhile investment.

It sounds like you need a Masterplan

Something that lays out the specific steps that you will take to elevate your company to the next level, without sacrificing quality. To achieve those steps that will (hopefully) grow your business you must be willing to take massive risks… and remember in the end you and your vision are worth it.

Trust yourself and trust your inner voice… but also conduct research because you want to have a balanced approach.

When it is all said and done there are times when you may have to override that voice of reason and logic…by making a decision that feels illogical.

While there are those who are natural-born risk takers everyone is not…so they may hesitate and instead spend time as a perpetual worrier (1). What if this does not work…or how much money could this decision cost me…are some of the questions that may fill their head.

Finally, here is an interesting reality that your business must realize….when brand messages are shared by your employees via social media the impact is 561% greater in terms of reaching people, than companies would be on their business social media page (2)!

Now that’s a big deal!!

So it’s not just getting the attention of potential customers or prospects; it is also getting the brand buy-in from the internal customers which includes employees.
