Perfectionism Can Paralyze You

Sometimes we wear perfection as a badge of honor.

We associate:

Perfection = the highest standard of quality

BUT Perfectionism can be problematic when it freezes our efficiency.

You could literally get stuck on projects for weeks, months and even years.

Perfectionism can paralyze you from taking any action if you allow it.

It will cause you to procrastinate, overthink, and obsess.

It will become an excuse to why you are not where you want to be.

Allowing you to accept and defend your lack of results.

Consider this:

GOOD < BETTER < BEST

Doing GOOD will still move you forward.

Doing GOOD will still get you off the starting point.

Make something GOOD.

And THEN figure out how to make it better.

Do the best you can.

Don’t run away from failure.

Reframe your reality:

Failure doesn’t equal ruination.

Failure = possibility for COURSE CORRECTION and an opportunity for improvement.
